从盖茨的话看盖茨的人

老盖，当过全球首富好多年，终于宣布退休了，在剩下的日子里，他将把主要精力放在慈善事业上。

老盖有不少名言流传于世。他说的这些话多少能反映出一些他的性格品质和远见卓识。

“The internet will help achieve "friction free capitalism" by putting buyer and seller in direct contact and providing more information to both about each other.” 

        不知道那一年说的，如果是在ebay, 阿里爸爸之前，就可以证明他的眼光。但为啥M$自已没搞电子商务？

“If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 miles per gallon.” 

         有想象力

"We always overestimate the change that will occur in the next two years and underestimate the change that will occur in the next ten. Don’t let yourself be lulled into inaction."

         看得比一般人远，勇于行动

"The internet is becoming the town square for the global village of tomorrow." 

         为啥M$在互联网上没啥实质性的作为，除了臭名昭著的IE?

         有点愤青的味道

         因为抄袭模仿太容易了？

         有点自恋狂的意思

         尽管很多人都认为微软在抄袭模仿，他却自认为是创新

          不满足任何已取得的成绩，不断进取

           他一定自认为是nerd，而且以自己是nerd为豪，不服世俗鄙夷的眼光，最终他胜利了。

总的来看，老盖并不是一个特别有创造力的人，却是一个有商业眼光并且快速行动的人。性格方面，他是一个自恋的人，一个不断进取的人，一个高度自尊的人，“我他妈的就是不服”也许就是他有今天的原动力吧。听说老盖原来的志向是想当数学家的，但进了哈佛之后，发现数学牛人多了去了，自己做不了第一。他不服，就去写电脑程序。因为当时懂电脑的人很少，能写程序的更是凤毛麟角，他能写，他觉得自己很酷，获得了对于那些数学牛人的优越感。
